FC Dallas hope a return to their home pitch will help them snap a three-match losing streak when they face the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday in a Western Conference dustup in Frisco, Texas.

Playing at home has been good for FC Dallas, who are unbeaten in 16 straight home matches (8-0-8), the longest active regular-season home unbeaten run in MLS.

FC Dallas (2-7-5, 11 points) is at the bottom of the Western Conference table after a 2-0 loss at Colorado on Wednesday. The club's three-match losing streak (all on the road) is its longest since May 2019.

Dallas coach Luchi Gonzalez said his team's losing streak comes down to the little things.

"We're there in terms of the game," Gonzalez said. "We're there in terms of with and without the ball, concepts and organization. But there are key moments ... that the opposition is making plays and we're not. We've yet to put that together, especially away, so that's a fight we are in."

After keeping a clean sheet against Colorado in the opening match of the season, FC Dallas has conceded goals in 13 straight matches. It's the longest Dallas has gone without a clean sheet since allowing a goal in 14 consecutive matches in 2013-2014.

The Galaxy (8-5-1, 25 points) came from two goals down to earn a draw against Real Salt Lake on Wednesday following a 2-1 loss to Vancouver on Saturday. Rayan Raveloson scored the equalizer in the 77th minute for the Galaxy, finding the net for his third consecutive game.

It was the Galaxy's fourth consecutive match without MLS joint leading-scorer Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez as well as midfielders Jonathan dos Santos and Efrain Alvarez.

"(Raveloson) has wonderful patience when it comes to crossing situations," Galaxy coach Greg Vanney said. "His athleticism, jumping ability and heading technique are on display when he's in those moments.

"He has been really helpful for us during this stretch as we look for goals in different ways, obviously with Javier (Hernandez) out, we are looking for goals in different types of ways."

It's the first time this season Los Angeles has gone consecutive matches without a victory.

FC Dallas have won six of their last seven home matches against the Galaxy, including the past four in a row.
